Chappell's lofty revenue goals are as outrageous and unfounded as Einhorn's fraud allegations. Truth lies somewhere in the middle. I have to agree and I think you should not buy in until the PE is a little more reasonable, which would be in the 30 to 40 bucks per share range. That's is likely where we will settle once earnings are finally announced, even if they meet expectations.
Both Einhorn & Chappell clearly have a vested interest in this stock for it to move in one direction or the other. Sterman is a voice of reason with no position in GMCR.
Still many morons predicting an Enron like collapse. Mark my words it will settle at a healthy PE ratio and a stock price between 30 to 40, putting the PE on par with other stocks in the coffee business.
