D.A. Davidson says it expects k-cups to add 4% to Dunkins U.S. (I'm only counting the donut business, NOt Baskin Robbins).
Last Q, Dunkin did 107.3 million in sales. A 4% increase translates into $4.3 million in k-cup sales.
It will be interesting to see if the DNKN breaks out the number, but I'm almost sure they will as it could probably be the only piece of good news in that report.
As you can see, initially not a huge amount of sales. But it is unknown how many stores are carrying k-cups and you would think DNKN management would be accelerating any existing plans to get the k-cups on supermarket shelves.
