It will take a few days or if there are a lot of buyers and the price climbs back to triple digits, it may take a day. What I noticed during the Netflix squeeze, it ran up good the first day, then the next trading morning it seemed to stall for the first half hour then it began to climb again and climbed the third day.

You will know when THE HEAT IS ON, once you see news briefs, blog posts from Seeking Alpha, The Motley Fool, The Street and others who are caught Short. All you need to do is to search NASDAQ.com and lookup the Short Interest and the bias becomes very clear. There is a list of all those who hold Short positions.




It's Damage Control.

This doesn't happen everyday but today shorties were peeing their pants knowing how many millions of shares were shorted. They ALL jumped to cover because there are just way too many shares shorted. one shortie was afraid of the other.

Funny that a lot of longs sold @ $60 and shorted thinking they would make couple bucks to the downside when this hype fades. But actually it went up $5 more dollars. Now there are two layers of shorties who will have to cover tomorrow morning. That domino effect will shoot the share price to $75-$80.

Lastly, I think at GMCR @ $65 is dirt cheap. This is a $100 share with proven profits. This company has beaten the estimates in last five quarters. THIS 20% PRICE INCREASE IS AN UPWARD CORRECTION, WHICH IS NOT DONE YET. Yes, I am buying more tomorrow morning @ $65 or $70.

Who said they need to be covered.

By the way, that has been around the average percentage short interest level for over two years now.

They could cover in weeks, not to ascend the price..No rush

If there is no margin call they don't have to be covered. They have unlimited loss potential.

Smart ones cover tomorrow and move on. Short some Facebook it will be way overpriced.
