It is funny that about 15 years ago Keurig approached all the big name coffee companies looking for investors in their project. No one was interested except GMCR and I think Van Haute? GMCR saw the potential for something big and invested lots of money and time and eventually bought Keurig. Once the home brewers hit the market. it has been huge double growth. All the big players must be kicking themselves these days.
