    • Not very good, I'd imagine, especially after they opened the new restaurant there called "Jacques and Saddam's Kitchen".

    • Paris is a very nice and manicured capital. Our troops can be kept in cool walking under the shadow of those nice tree lined streets of Paris.

BTW, what is the occupation percentage of the Paris hotel in Las Vegas these days?.

    • It's a pity France doesn't have oil. We could take care of them during our coffee break!

    • Rude?. You started that shiite. Taking care of Iran militarily?. 3 times the size of Iraq with over 75 million people?. Huge mountains in their north (top ten peaks in the world), north west to south western region?, vast deserts?. You're nuts.

    • I think you're right about Iraq's capabilities.

To reiterate my point, his possession of these chemical and biological weapons poses a serious threat to world economy's current and future access to the oil there. Since we are the protector (and primary beneficiary) of the world economy, we need to take Saddam out. It's as simple as that. There's no "humanitarianism" here. The only reason we pretend there's some higher purpose is because few Americans are as hawkish as I am!

    • I'm probably going to lose some of you here, but I support the war on Iraq because it's about oil! I know that we're saying it's to keep WMD out of a madman's hands and protect the region, etc. -- and that's valid. But the real reason is that we want to take the second largest oil reserve out of the hands of the madman with WMD, thus ensuring that supply will continue to be available for the foreseeable future. No, we're NOT "taking the oil", just ensuring and insuring it's availability. It's good business. Reliable flow of oil is a key to the proper functioning of the gloabal economy. I make no apology for it whatsoever.

Is this war about bringing democracy Iraq so that the people may live better lives?? Give me a break! Smoke another doobie! Frankly, I don't want a democracy in Iraq. They don't know how to live in a democracy and they will surely screw it up. Three years from now, we'll have to invade again. Give me another dictator. Just a friendly one this time.

Sorry it doesn't sound pretty, but it's the way it is! If you're really honest with yourselves, you know I'm right.
