ABAX appears to have a simple to use, not messy, yet thorough human blood analysis product. I have listened to some of their earnings conference calls, and I wonder what inhibits the doctor and blood analysis population from buying a lot more of their Piccolo systems. As I understand it the US military uses a lot of these machines already.
Hold up? In the last six years they've done a bit over 1/2 BILLION in sales. Both their top line and more importantly their net profit increases every year. It's no GOOGLE success story but I'd take ten ABAX's over one Google any day in my portfolio.
100mm in sales is a major milestone for a business. It's as significant as the first 1mm. No where to go but up, IMO. This is not a particular exciting stock to watch day to day but it's been a hell of an exciting stock to watch year over year.
