I've been hitting more stores. General comments:
+ Monster is the top seller - RB second
+ "white" can selling strong - "green" can still the leader
+ Monster selling better because of all the flavors
+ Blue collar workers buy a lot
+ Not too many sales going on
While in the stores I make sure to straighten out the shelves - claw facing forward, etc. Perfect branding - the name, the claw, the sponsorships. I'm pretty excited.
Vector - MNST is well run and has a great business plan. The company is worth a gold mine. I believe that if PEPSI, COKE, or BUD made an offer over $75 per share, this company would be sold. In any event, its worthy of a long term hold rating and should be in any portfolio. PE is high, but the growth rate is still 3x higher than normal. The beauty is, NO DEBT, LOADS OF EXCESS CASH, AND UNLIMITED MARKET POTENTIAL. If BUD of PEPSI or COKE doesn't buy soon, I WOULD IMAGINE THAT THEY ENTER INTO LICENSING DEALS IN NEW MARKETS. BIG DOUGH FOR MNST.
