Well boys D-Day is upon us. The troop ships are offshore and the longs are being lowered into the landing craft. Things look promising with the early bombardment from Navteq. Will we be met by the financial equivalent of horny French women or have the shorts looked into the future and placed a Panzer division at our Normandy? We will have our answer at dawn. What did the man say? "Gentlemen, I'll see you on the beach!"
Well the landing went great and we roared across the countryside. Victory by Christmas seemed at hand. But we outran our supply lines and stumbled. Then a suprise attack from the Deutsche and suddenly we are surrounded by shorts demanding capitulation. There is only one proper response, "NUTS!"
I love the analogy but you're such a rookie. LOL. Just kidding. You must be a history fan. So am I. I actually went to the D-Day beaches last Oct. I said rookie because you shouldn't place too much on these ER's. Big money usually knows what they are anyway and will out-trade you post event.
As your metaphor suggests, anything is possible. But we just saw from NVT evidence that suggests GRMN will have a great ER tomorrow. Of course the non-auto business could side-kick us but I have a feeling theu're doing good also. See ya at 90+ in the morning.
Eisenhower had an appology speech ready in his pocket stating the failure in Normandy was all his fault and his alone. He obviously never had to use it. The allies would have won the war no matter what happened at Normandy. Tomorrow is big day. If we get crushed on the beaches, the outcome will be no different, it will just take a little longer
