Why don't PFE/DRRX produce a sticky Oxycontin and just dump PTIE and Remoxy? Surely that's what everyone including the FDA wants and will cut out PTIE's 20%.

    • Patent until 2031, more difficult to abuse than anything marketed, very difficult to make and imitate and 2X rather than Oxycontin 3X daily dosing with follow-on pain products coming with same formulation.

      Sentiment: Hold

    • The sticky is provided by SAIB for which I believe PTIE has the license for the USA. Hence they are stuck with PTIE. Pfizer just re-invented Remoxy but they most likely still kept the SAIB as that is the basis for the patents issued. Remoxy is dead money. On Friday the FDA will block generics to Opana and most likely block Zohydro from launching so you have two plays there. Long Endo - until Monday morning and short Zogenix. Why do stay here to entertain the noobs? PharmaJedi- Please. I was a Jedi master when you were still on the tit.

    • Pure hogwash again by fg.....as any new branded (IP is important here) will need to under go the rigor of regulatory approval. Generics will also need to meet a similar high regulatory hurdle (bio-wavers will not be a feasible path once so heavily relied on by generics). Perfect scenarios for PFE and PTie,
