Why is it greed for one to want to keep their own, hard earned money, and somehow not greed when you leftists want to take other folks' hard earned money? And for your information duffus, there are trillions of dollars invested in foreign funds. Just normal, everyday investing.
Jesus needs to stay out of this one. Rich folks circulate their money hiring people, and donating their money directly to those in need. The facts bear this out regarding the philanthropic giving of not only money but time as well by the wealthy. Giving it to the govt. so they can create a massive bureaucracy, and huge debt burden is corrupt at best. And exactly what liberals want to do.
Prime directive in Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals, pit Americans against each other over income inequality. Obama has now successfully divided Americans over income redistribution. Take more from the top 10% who already pay 70% of all income taxes and give it to the bottom 40% who pay no income taxes. I wish I could have done more in life like be a biologist or a palentologist but it never happened the way I wanted it too. Instead I ended up being one of the millions of middle class. But in spite of it all I'm content and happy with the life I made for myself. If you're not happy with your place in society go back to school and gain the knowledge that will help you become the successful person you want to be. Just don't depend on other people covering for your mistakes in life. If you desire the good life it's your responsibility to go and get it.

Why do they give or transfer much to a private charity ( gates for example )- simple they KNOW most any legitimate private charity will do more good per $$ than the gubbermint !
Of course Buffett pays a smaller tax rate than his secretary - most of his earnings are thru capital gains. Where as his ' secretary" has a smaller percentage of his/her earnings as capital gains- and a larger part as earnings subject to witholding- medicare- SS - obumacare - and various state taxes.
