I watched the CNBC 2011 Dreamliner special last night
Scared the heck out of me.
When test proved that plastic wings began separating when bent, they applied a bandaid fix by reinforcing them with titanium rods. However, common sense now tells you that they won't bend!
Wings are designed to bend so they wont snap off the fuselage.
Well, now they just might!
Also, they said that they had to get the blessing form ANA (All Nippon Air) because they were they most thorough of all global companies. Well they did and made their first major sale to them. However, CNBC said that it was at a MAJOR discount (read bribe of sorts). Possibly at 50% disocunt !!!!
