So 5-year CD rates are at 1.35%, money market rates at 0.42 % and investors are selling of UTG.
Even the 30-year bond (30-year) is yielding only 3.9% and UTG is yielding 6,7% after raising its dividend 4.8%. One monthly dividend from UTG yields more than the annual annual yield of the average money market fund by 29%.
I think we still have about a $2.00 a share upside from here in the 1st Q of 2014. I loaded up about 2 weeks ago. Still a great buy. I"ll buy again the day after x div date. If it drops a lot a day before x div I buy more.
The solid stocks in the fund are on sale with a 10% discount from NAV (yield 6,7%, distributed monthly)
