    • Having been downsized myself in tough times I know how hard it can be. After two protracted job searches...I understand the fear!

The best thing is to get professional help with a resume and do it now while you are employed. Start looking, see what you can find. Get numerous employment agencies (fee covered)working for you and don't let them know you are in at other agencies. Also consider night classes now if you need to get skills updated or a new career going. Don't worry about the company paying for them...just take them while you have the income to do so.

If you get a better or equal offer while searching and still working for FMK...it's a no brainer...take it.

I think all these plant closings will easily help to push them into the red. What do you want to bet this stock is a good buy early next year?

Until I see some sort of indication that the bleeding is over, the plants are all closed, and the stock is ready to move...I remain on the side. I don't understand all the costs associated with closing down plants but I do understand that it is expensive. Those holding long now, I'm afraid, are going to take some additional serious losses when the next quarter comes out. But I'm not a basher, that's just the way I see it. I think good oportunity is coming for those of us watching from the side lines. Next year may be a very good year for FMK stock if the economy doesn't die on us. A slimmed down company with new, more productive equipment...sounds good anyway.

I think FMKs' future is up in the air and that's why plants like Rochestor are closing down.

GOOD MANAGEMENT DOES NOT RUN A PLANT INTO THE GROUND. FMK had a lot of plants that they run into the ground and that were badly positioned for the future. It all flows from the top. Now the plants are disposable, the hard working empoyees are disposable...whatever it takes to keep FMK alive and management pulling down those big fat checks! yeah, I've been downsized before, but not from FMK.
