No. I have 21,500 shares of MTGE and the rights to buy another 35,000 shares at $20 through December and i'm still here. The book should be around $22.45 post dividend. So sell at $19 sounds silly. Management added hedges according to AGNC's presentation and they do run both funds.
I agree with instantwin. Even if book has decreased by 10% from last quarter, that would put book at 21.83. At current prices, it is trading at a 16% discount to book which is nuts. I am about to go buy some more
If your time horizon is 5 to 10 years why are you looking at the price one month later? Check in 5 years from now and enjoy the divs along the way. But then again this a MB and ultimately you are on your own...
