Comps and margins seem to be heading in the right direction and the leadership transition is being perceived as a positive catalyst in this turnaround story. Some new blood, energy, and vision could propel this comeback and lead to some very healthy stock returns.
Wonder if Dennis finally saw the light or was nudged by the Green team?...either way, the next chapter would appear to have more upside than down.
If macro headwinds continue to diminish, purses will open up. And as long as CWTR is offering the right mix, style, and price points, they should benefit greatly. Let's see how the Holiday and Spring seasons do.
I've been in the stock since June and have taken some profits today on a double+. If this trend and story plays out fully, I think this is a double digit stock in 9 - 12 months ($11-$13), so I'm holding the rest - and would actually consider adding more on weakness into the $4's.
At this point it's all about execution and reconnecting through brand building.
