No Kevin, I have never been to Alaska. I am bullish based on my research of the people running the company, and the progress that they have made, coupled with a short interest that is still over 10%. Also, the price was driven down below $3 based on a bunch of inuendo and speculation. Now, because I believe in management, I am fairly confident that they will show growth, which will force shorts to cover. If things in Alaska are going much better than the public knows about, that will be an added bonus. But, my point was that I'm not investing because a stranger says he has seen firsthand what is happening in the field. The quarterly earnings will confirm the progress made. I do think they are a prime takeover candidate if they continue to show growth into 2013.
I believe Kevin has some credibility here John. He has been very accurate and informative to this point. I think he knows a lot more about this company than what is going on in the field. I followed him over here from another board when this stock was 2.90. I too would not buy because of what I read on a message board but so far he has been dead on. Just curious Kevin what do you think of takeover possibility? Also can you give some more specifics on the seismographic reports?
