    Teva's Not There Yet(As A Buy)

But, she's getting very close IMO.

    • You own UAL? *No one* owns UAL but me. Everyone from my investor buddy at work to my "I-hate-the-stock-market" commie dad told me that investing in UAL was a huge mistake. Makes me brag all the extra about my current returns on it.

    • it's heartening to see teva rise on meeting estimated earnings. it seems to me this could indicate ws thinks teva is undervalued at these prices, which is what some of us have thought all along.
i must disagree with "pet" and encourage teva to make as much $ with copaxone as they can thru 2014 expiration and continue to buy good companies with the money! hopefully these companies earnings can more than offset the percentage of revenue lost.

    • Excuses are for losers, but since December, there has been an inordinate amount of negative "news" which motivates TRADERS.I'm an investor.I own all those stocks you posted and have similar gains. For a LONGER time, I also own a bunch more high quality issues;KO,YUM(WOW!!) DEO, HD, AXP, INTC(first bought at 15)VZ, etc. etc.My equities are now moving towards almost no PURE growth.I retired two weeks ago.I have enough so I'm more interested in income and stability.I do own AAPL and GOOG, but I don't view those as terribly risky.Curiously, my BEST stock is...drumroll...SIRI...made a ridiculous profit.
Watch Teva climb now-the BAD NEWS(which is almost ALWAYS BS) is waning and health care is more favorable-that's why ABT turned from a paper loss for me into a paper gain WITH a yield.
      Only the Pope is infallible:)

    • Buy in December might have been early, but it still will be right IMO.

    • There are some real problems on the funamendal level now. News-related, not existing numbers-related.

Laquinimod was a disappointment, and what with oral MS treatments crawling out of the woodwork and MNTA plus others waiting to jump on Copaxone, I think that the sooner we can just write off MS market dominance the sooner we can trade without recurring panic attacks.

Meanwhile all the headline-grabbing generic moves--Lipitor, Lovenox, for instance--are being snatched up elsewhere. I want to see assurance that TEVA will remain the generics juggernaut that I bought it for. Then we just need clarification on what trends the US and others are going to see with regard to generic drugs.

I think recent business moves are well suited towards TEVA more quietly resuming a financially dominant position without limelight, and I will generally appreciate that. It doesn't need to be a name on everyone's tongue if it's got a presense in everyone's medicine cabinet.

But I fear that as long as there's a glimmer of hope for laquinimod and copaxone, we've just got potential for more major skids in share price. We'll see what happens with earnings.

    • sorry i already bought TEVA.lol
