LOL, is there another company on the planet who gets bashed for "ONLY" raising the dividend by 15%? If any other company raises by even 10% they are praised effusively for their dividend growth. I love how these d-bag analysts say on the conference call "you raised the dividend which was nice but investors were expecting more" - Oh really? Who were these "investors" exactly? Why would they be expecting more than that? Are they insane? And aren't there more sustainable ways to deploy cash? How about some R&D and "pearl" acquisitions? And why has the stock price gone up since that earnings call?
Could the analysts be bashing while they tell their clients to accumulate shares? I don't know what their agenda is but wow are they irritating and arrogant on these calls.
I believe TEVA is well positioned to capitalize on the so called patent cliff in blockbusters & bio-similars they may just hit one out of the park with a new patent.
We should hear a lot of analysts whining about the bio-similars patent cliff before long.
Barriers to developing generic bio-similars are a lot higher & TEVA has expertise...
I like TEVA's moat!
I'm long (10 year horizon) & will accumulate on the dips...
Yeah its confusing. I dont get it? Is teva losing money or something? Looks like its doing well to me. Perhaps they keep refering to loss of premier earning patented drug for ms? Could be the stock continues to get punished for thier ms drug coming off patent similar to lipitor at pfizer. Thing is the % of earnings for the teva patented earner is probably more than fof the lipitor/pfizer analogy. The question becomes if teva is already oversold has it seen its bottom already?
