lately i have been trying to focus

the charts, since fundamentals for Teva are incomprehensible (otherwise the stock price should be higher) ,so this maybe simple or naive ,but i can see an upward channel in the making since mid december, now ! i also see that the lower line of the channel is been kissed and i dont know if its going to be penetrated .Nevertheless as far in time as i can see TEVA has never kept going down for more that 7 straight days. So,probably tomorrow we should have a bounce, will it take us to the upper channel. i really hope so.
On the contrary if the stock goes lower....well ..well. ...but at least %w index and slow stockastic are not supporting this thesis.

      • Being 37,25 a resistance -support line for Teva during yesterdays stock market session , makes me believe that the stock could open green and stay green tomorrow .Better i hoping that now that most sellers apparently have left Teva could retake a consistent and long lasting upward trend.
Slowstochastick index too is pointing now to this development.

PD.Bottomfed and board members please forgive my english....i had only chance to learn it as a second language at i travel around the globe.. In fact i am still learning it . "Viva Las Vegas" lol-

    • 37,25 seems to be a support -resistance line, good thing we are over .

      Sentiment: Buy

    • Could you pls. translate your post into

    • Sellers exhaust at this point shown by the low volume and 9 days in red - this is at least a stop , two posible outcomes now ...a-consolidation - b upward . in my humble opinion.

    • Sorry to say but the fastest and strongest way for teva to unlock its "hidden"/value is to be put up for sale to another big pharma or conglomorate like jnj or proctor and gamble etc. If jnj were to offer $42 a share they could snag teva and add to their earnings growth. I could see a scenario like that working here. Otherwise it looks like teva takes too long to dig itself out of its value hole on its own. dividend is not big enougth to keep the interest of the market investors. jnj or some other major player buying teva it could happen. teva cheap cheap, too cheap.

      • Many,

If Teva were to be sold (which is highly unlikely) they would want much more than $42/share. The fact is Jeremy Levin is implementing his new strategy for Teva as we speak. Whether it will all work out in the end is the $64,000 question. He obviously has the credentials, but lets not underestimate the task he has ahead of him also. He has asked for patience and a 5 year window in order to get Teva back to where he feels they need to be. As I have said before this is still a very good company, even if Wall Street no longer thinks so. The bar under the former management was set quite high and therefore when Teva could not live up to the expectations Wall Street really took the stock out to the woodshed, she has never recovered.

My advice (take it for what it is worth) at this juncture is if you like Teva, trust that Levin can restore investor faith and have a long term view then invest a small percentage of your portfolio in her. This way it is a win win. First, you collect almost a 3% dividend while you wait. Second, you are not overweight in the stock in case it doesn't rebound and third you have other opportunities within this market to grow your money. Just my two cents.

    • Forgot to mention that the volume shown for the time span i am refering to is so low that wont sustain any breaking of the channel either way unless higher volume resume again at some point. Hope my glasses are not dirty and that i am not just making a wishful thinking analysis.

PD. The good news is that the channel (if not imaginary) is trending up.
