Pfizer (NYSE:PFE): Current price $28.96
With Pfizer’s patents on Viagra expiring this weekend in the United States and several European countries, the Israeli drug maker Teva Pharmaceutical Industries (NYSE:TEVA) will “soon” start selling a generic version of the drug in the United Kingdom and other European countries, according to the newspaper Globes citing unnamed sources. It is expected that Teva will sell Viagra for one pound per pill in the U.K., considerably down from the current price of 10 pounds, said Globes.
I am NOT surpeise. With such a greedy BOD and a selfish Board Chariman whose other interests are of most importance to him - nothing seemd to be able to move this stock higher. Only lower.
