I just sold my last remaining position in Teva. I held for almost 3 years, but decided it is finally time. My belief is she still has a good chance of turning the corner, but I don't want to wait another couple of years, which I believe it will take to turn things around. I also think the market is poised for a pretty good pullback in the near term and I will use it as a buying opportunity. I have enjoyed many of the posters here and wish you all the best in your future investing.
i presume you hold a balanced portfoilio why not just reduce teva it really does have much more upside and pretty clear downside support around 39. sorry to see yoy go. i lurk and read what you say. hope you reinvest on a dip.... will give me more confidence. i used to read up but got very tired and depressed with actual results and reading about the greedy directors. teva is a different company from 10 years ago but i still hols sentimental, foolish, belief. besides i don't have a clue what balanced portfolio shares to pick. looking at brkb as a base. maybe some index funds. appreciate guidance ot teva.
CD best of luck. In the last few months I've renewed a position in TEVA below 40. The chart is looking real good. The 50 day MA has crossed the 200 day MA. Stocks many times make their move before good news is apparent to the masses. 4th Quarter earnings are forecasted to be above 4th Q 2012. It's been awhile since that has happened. I look for you and Atty to return to the stock at higher prices.
cd good luck - i don't agree with your move - i am 7 years in teva and still believe that i am correct in staying - i will consider leaving when teva will hit the 50's and i believe it will happen ! i bought at 27 usd
i am truly glad for you. i'm deep in overweight and in deep red.... i aleays feel for you when you post but your feelings and hopes won't push teva up or affect the message board views. most are way ahead of us in analysis. spread as soon as your heart allows you. good luck. be well
