So I guess your argument is that there are only 2 kinds of people, poor who don't work and wealthy (who may or may not work). that's a rather biased, ignorant view.
To call this facile analysis a "moral dilemma" looks like you've been brainwashed.
Missing is the Middle Class, who are disappearing, yet they built America to what it is today. btw, I know a lot of "rich" people who don't really work - they live off the work of their daddy or grandaddy. Bring back the inheritance tax - a tax that built America by making sure a blueblood class wouldn't develop here through those like you who are enamored of money and fail to see basic relationships and attributes of people beyond their $ level.
QWAK,canucanoe,Agen you grasp at the less important and totaly MISS the actual CAUSE and WHY and HOW things are as they NOW are (about to IMPLODE GLOBALY) -- this is what they KNEW would happen but did not CARE as they knew the system was a SCAM and this was just the LAST big -- GRAB as much as they could as fast as posable could befor the collaps -- the BANKERS did it ALL!
Poor people who never could actualy PAY were PONS nothing more!
canu: This is one of your best posts. I know and see poor people that work very hard and yet are not able to get ahead because of the low wages they are paid by multi millionaires. The notion that people are poor because they don't work is purely a myth. Yes, some people are poor because of bad, uneducated choices they make. And, it is true some are to lazy to work. I also know some that inherited their parents wealth and have gone through their inheritance because they were too lazy to work and spent money foolishly. I agree that the inheritance tax needs to be brought back for estates over 4 million.
