Check the KO web site. Dividend for October and December will be 25.5 cents per share. The current dividend is .51 cents per share. Divide .51 x 2 = 25.5. Been down this road before. Stock prices usually increase after a split. Splits indicate company strength.
"The amount of the dividend was adjusted as a result of the stock split and is equivalent to the 51 cents per share regular quarterly dividend declared in the first two quarters of 2012 prior to the split."
I don't know what exactly will happen however I looked at the historical prices, dividends only for KO on this Yahoo Finance site for as far back as it goes and this shows what the dividend was the three dividends before the split and the three dividends after the split. Will it happen this way again? I hope so but I have no crystal ball:
