    Negative Earnings Surprise

    I saw at http://www.stockselector.com that
Coca-Cola bottling had the to negative earnings surprise
for Friday with a reported EPS of ($0.29). The
expected was $0.08 for a difference of -462.50%.

What kind of effect will this have on KO and/or is
this a sign of something coming at KO?

    • Dear jwhileyjr,

      I wouldn't worry about
Coca Cola Bottling affecting KO with
      this latest
report. First of all KO makes its profit from
      selling
the syrup to the bottlers. As fridays report
      shows
Net Sales went up 14% at Coca Cola Bottling. That
      means that
KO delivered 14% more syrup at some
      point. Also I wouldn't
      worry about Coca Cola Bottling
either for I heard from an
      Analyst friend of mine,
who I meet at the KO shareholders
      meeting, he
told me that Coca Cola Bottling is making some

pretty heavy Capital Expenditures in trying to increase

capacity to meet the enormous demand for the product.

I personally believe due to the warmer weather this

year that people will on average drink more KO
      products.
Things can not be as bad as people say at Coca Cola
      Bottling
for they bought back 1.5% of their shares . I hope
      this
      addresses your concern.

      GO KO!!!!!!!!! And Keep The
      Faith In # 1
