I will continue to hold and purchase mor

I think the next millennium will be a KO
    millennium. From
all the research that I have done, I see
    Coca Cola as the
    perfect investment. I will
continue to buy, as I have done
    in the past, whenever
I have a little money. Too many people
    have
lost, to many golden opportunities during this Bull
    Run,
by sitting in cash and saying when it goes down I'll
    buy some.
The problem occurs with stocks of KO's
    quality ,is that there
is a chance that it may not go
    down for a while. Investors
    who invest through Drip
plans are the real brains in the world
    of investing.
They don't worry if the stock is too low or
    too
high they just keep piling in every month and "dollar
    cost
average". As the years go by they build up very impressive

portfolios and use the power of compounding to become
    rich.
Selling a stock like KO gets you nowhere, for ten years
    from
now there is a high probability that it will be
    double, so for
those who sell and pay their capital
    gains it becomes a
    useless exersise, for they never
    appreciate the power of
compounding. As for me I will
    continue to invest every month
    and 30 years from now
will have my own Robbins Nest in Hawaii and
    drive
around in a Red KO colored Ferrari and think I'm

Magnum P.I. . For those of you who are quoting Ben
    Graham
lately, this is my favorite quote from the master and
    sums up
    my attitude to investing in KO;

    HAVE
THE COURAGE OF YOUR KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE. IF

YOU HAVE FORMED A CONCLUSION FROM THE FACTS AND IF

KNOW YOUR JUDGEMENT IS SOUND, ACT ON IT !!!!!!!

EVEN THOUGH OTHERS MAY HESITATE OR DIFFER ( YOU ARE

NEITHER RIGHT NOR WRONG BECAUSE THE CROWD DISAGREES

WITH YOU. YOU ARE RIGHT BECAUSE YOUR DATA AND
    REASONING

    ARE RIGHT. )

    • This stock is well over fair value.

    • Buenos Dias a usted. GWB Jr. is most definitely a
cut above senior. He is not as fiscally conservative
as I would like to see; he has given us a rather
moderate property tax decrease and seems to run the Texas
gov. like a business (i.e. no more money out than came
in, etc.) One of his statements during his victory
speech was..."Texas is going to become a place where you
are going to become responsible for your actions..."
We will all learn more about his political
      philosophy as time passes.
      Roger that about a classic
battle between an oil man and a UN global warmie...Being
a geologist I can tell you most emphatically that
the earth has warmed to the point of the polar
icecaps breaking up about 60 times in the past 60,000
years...this is a natural phenomenon that is caused by changes
in the earth's tilt and attitude towards the sun,
and has absolutely nothing to to do with the actions
of man or the internal combustion engine. I think
that Georgie will make a pretty good Pres. at this
point in time, but will let you know if he
      digresses...

      Hasta Luego,

      King

    • I think I could live with GW Bush. You apparently
picked up I am not real big on Ivy league types! I'd
like to hear more about him. Your endorsement of him
would mean a lot to me( as long as gas doesn't go to
$2.00/gal.) Anyway this would be a classic battle of an oil
man and a man who says all of earths problems are
mainly caused by the internal combustion engine. I don't
know about you but my six cylinder pollutes less than
Air Force 2 does and I defy any scientist to disprove
that fact.( Not to mention the 8 cylinder gas hogs
those dudes get chauffered around in. Haven't heard or
seen hide nor hair nor feather of notbuffett. I know
he has remodeling project he wants to get done by
Thanksgiving so he may be slaving away at the salt mine. He'll
be around later to fill us in. Best Wishes Amigo y
hasta luego. ALWAYS COCA-COLA!! PS KO UP AGAIN TODAY!!

    • that is impossible...he has no boats (ships)...

    • Chevron has spent about 3 billion US in
Khazakistan on drilling and starting a pipeline from Baku to
eastern Europe. It is anybody's guess what will happen to
this investment when Yeltsin goes...Several other US
majors are also in this boat, will they get their money
back? Will it be in rubles? Will the people with whom
they signed contracts with be in power in 90
      days?...Yo no se...

    • ...think brother jeb might just help georgie, too...his wife is hispanic i believe, which may have helped with fl minority vote...

    • Yes, these are good guys with ideas like ours,
and they are not afraid to implement them. However,
Georgie will be hard to beat as a candidate; he does not
have the Yale complex his daddy has and he has
actually worked for a living in the oil business. His wife
is a former school teacher and she has not a lot of
pretensions either. How is Buffy doing, by the way? Haven't
had the pleasure of seeing him around for a
      while.

    • read that yelsin is dumping oil on the market in huge quantities to raise cash...potatoes don't quite cut it...what's this doing to us/middle east investments...jekyll

    • Forgot to mention in last post, I read you bio.
and I really identify with you favorite quote! Like
all but 6, save them for pall bearers. Hasta luego
Senor Gringo Kingfish de San Antonio de Norte America (
hey you with the blue eyes) ALWAYS COCA-COLA!!!!!!!

    • agree with part of your previous post on
newtie...my only objection: newtie has better haircut than
john k...heard john on one of those sunday am
shows...promoting a book or something...emphatic about not running
for pres job...sure sounded good though...hate to see
him mess up georgie's chances though...btw whatever
became of ex-vp dan who? did ms marilyn put a sock in
his mouth and a leash on his collar? probably good
      thing, too...always coca-cola and culater...jekyll
