Just wondering if this is a good time to short
KO. When the FDA starts going after cola companies
for jacking-up the caffeine content of their drinks,
thus "hooking" kids, I believe these companies may
take a hit.
Anyone else agree? Or should I
look elsewhere, since there are so many true believers
in this caramel-colored sugar water?
Mycrof...unless you also own Wells Fargo, Silver,
and bought billions in bonds @99 and change, don't
believe you can attain the same results as Mr. Buffet.
You don't have enough class to put yourself into the
same hemisphere as Warren Buffet. You follow Mr.
Buffet which indicates you can't lead worth diddley. I'm
sure Mr. Buffet doesn't know who you are or even
care...you're a nobody...you're just someone who owns some
shares of Coca Cola (a nice safe investment that
provides you with consistent dividends-invest in Phillip
Morris to acheive similar results.) Diversify yourself
son...sell KO now and increase your position when the price
falls back below 70.

Yes, KO may go down big time. Intel may quit
making chips, and Bill Gates may file bankruptcy
tomorrow. It is also possible, one or all of us may get hit
by a bus next week.

If you are short KO so be it. I wouldn't reccomend
it, but this is certainly you option. You may even
"win" in the short-term, but in the long haul the KO
money machine will run you over!!
I know the
sky is falling, the end is near, the mother of all
crashes is coming. If this is true, it will certainly be
unsettling, but I, like many others on this board, will not
panic. I say this for 3 reasons 1) Before I need the
money, in 30 years, the market will come back. 2) I will
continue to dollar cost average ALL my investments for the
long-term. 3) The market is not my whole life, and everyone
who loves me now will love me after "the crash".

Orangina. The drink has been sold in
my area (California) for

Personally, I think the Fanta Orange that is sold in England

I had no idea Orangina was a French drink. My son
and his kids have been drinking it for years here in
Vermont, New York and Massachusetts, and they love it. It
does have a kind of elite aura (and price), which must
be the French part. Let Coke put their marketing to
work and they will probably make a good deal out of
it. Cute bottles, too.
