    Hopeless!!

How can you guys (women) stick around with this
stock!?? It took me a few years to come around, but I have
finally figured out that you have to own some stocks that
are in the flow and moving. Not bragging, because
they could tank in a bear market, but as an example
(or 2), my ARBA, SEBL, BRCM, JDSU, YHOO, ALA, CRA,
NT, ERICY etc have all made big percentage moves up
while good ol KO just wallows in the 50's with NO
CATALYST to move it higher. Mikiesmoky is right on the
money with his comments about this stock. It's going
nowhere! There is virtually no reason for it to go up save
for the "wishing and hoping" of the people that own
this security. I'd take a look at it if it got into
the 20's or low 30's but at this level... not on your
life. WAS a good investment... but things change and
the FUTURE is fiber optic, wireless, biotech, drugs,
software, telecommunications. Where do you think KO will be
in 10 years? Certainly not where MSFT or ORCL or MOT
will be! KO is a great company, but it's a mature,
stagnant, behemoth with nowhere to grow. China?? Those
    people love their tea!

    • comes to multi real estate investments in
      Savannah or St. Simons.

      Scatter is right, you can
move money to safer corners but not off the table.

      Let it ride.

      Anybody see CAT today? What
      about VSIN.OB? On a roll!!!!!!!

    • agreed...can't exactly take em off the table
(assuming there is only one table)...the trick is to take
em off one table (or part of the table)and put em on
      another...

"let em ride" sounds like a disaster waiting to
      happen...even ogden knows that!!

    • That was hilarious HMCCPO! I don't think I can go
to sleep now after all this laughing.

      Ogden,
you seriously have to read HMCCPO's joke; stop being
childish and "ignoring" HMCCPO (at least for his one
      message).

Good luck on the KO earnings next week.

      To all
longs: I hope you crush earnings and watch the shorts
      burn.

To all shorts: I hope KO falls below estimates and
      plummets.

To all ogdens: I hope KO's earnings are just bad
enough to send KO down to 40 and make it stay there
      forever.

That's the politically correct way of saying good luck!
      :-)

    • You still remember the Blockbuster thing? I don't
even remember when I posted about it!

      I went
for an interview, and the manager told me he would
call me about the job on Monday. I'll inform you about
it when I get the all-important news.

    • did you get the gig at Blockbuster? I will need updates if you do.

    • How about picking on someone your own size?

    • You said, "the secret is to take thy profits off
      the table before they disappear."

      That's good
advice in a casino, but not so good in the stock market.
In a casino, the odds are in the house's favor. The
longer you play, the more likely it is that you lose. In
the stock market, it's just the opposite. "Let 'em
      ride" is better advice.

      Your advice also assumes
that you CAN take your profits off the table. All you
can do is move them to less risky corners of the
table. Even cash can disappear in inflation.

    • RE: P.S. A friendly suggestion: I've always been
confused by your posting style. You paste the whole post
of the person you are replying to into your own
message. It's not immediately obvious who said what. Sure
I can figure it out, but a more conventional
quoting style would be easier on the reader.

      ************************************************************************
Do you notice the separation between you comment and
      my response??

      best,

      Michael
      Z.
      ************************************************************************

Yes, I noticed, but only after I read a few words or
      lines. During which I was
      confused.

      best,
