I agree, and as long as James E. Ferrell owns 4,232,025 units of FGP I would guess that there would be a concerted effort to keep the dividend at it's present level. Reinvesting the dividend also seems to make sense if you are trying to build for retirement. The first quarterly dividend they paid was @ .65 and @ .50 every since. The only reason I don't buy more is that the analyst's don't seem to be too excited about it.
I'm sure there have been many similar comments like this in the previous 45 or so quarters FGP has managed to deliver on it's committments. Not sure how long you've been plugged in, or even if you are...but rest assured the company is on solid financial footing.
