`I agree I look at the history of this stock and it seems to get out of problems, and recovers I am holding for a long term investment and see its action as typical looking at its history. I wouldn't hold a coal stock with the same feeling.
I was looking at the talking heads ref Citicorp and maybe that same expert should list C as a sell since they grown only about 8 % in 5 years over the last 2 years it has done nothing and pay a rather small div. Incidentally FGP more then doubled in the same period
Your history lesson should go further back. Fg doubled about 5 years ago only because the employees agreed to make their trust fund subordinate to public owners (us). The employees did this because the price had decreased 50% over the previous 2 years. Fg is still below its IPO price from 1994! If the technology bet continues to show bad results, the price will drop further. I pray that is works out. Be careful.
