    Which Headline to Believe??

LOL, That seems to always happen.

I believe the news to be good...here is a portion:

"He also pointed out, "Another highlight of the year was an 8% improvement in distributable cash flow achieving a record $159.3 million, or coverage of 1.13x, the partnership's highest DCF coverage since fiscal 2003."

The increase in DCF is the number that unit owners need to pay attention to. That number sounds good to me. Our income is secure. That said, will FGP now sell on the news, or POP higher?

    • Since their history has been to pay .50 quarterly, will the DCF increase lead to higher distributions? I doubt it.

Yeah, with history as our guide, I'd say there is 90+% chance of no increase in distribution. But, there is something to be said about consistency and that is what some of us like about FGP.

For more growth oriented MLP's try NRGY/NRGP or APL (currently not paying a distribution). They are going to grow over the next few years while increasing distributions.
