Doubt it has anything to do with which State. I don't think people realize it costs a lot to send a truck and driver to fill a tank. Distance, time of year and volume will have effects on per gallon price. It is commonplace to hear people complaining of gauging when in many cases they live in remote locations, don't plan ahead, have poor credit, want small quantities. A lot of factors play in delivered cost.
