    Barbakow--get over yourself

    I'm happy with his performance too but what's wrong with him joining his team in Dallas to enhance teamwork and communication and save the shareholders the expense of his Santa Barbara office? After all, he made most everyone else from the Santa Monica office move there. It smacks of extreme arrogance which gets back to my original point--he needs to get over himself.

      I agree with the previous post. Shareholders should not support a separate facility and staff, located a thousand miles from the administrative headquarters, for the CEO. If it is appropriate for the company to be headquartered in Texas, the CEO should be there.

        A good CEO is hard to find and this one seems to be doing a fine job! Apparently you have never been to Santa Barbara!?! I would not want to leave! Have you ever been to Texas?
        I originally owned ORN and I was going to sell when THC bought, but they have performed so well.

        While the corporate office in Santa Barbara is
        expensive, I believe M Focht(Operations) should be in
        Dallas. The performance of the company will improve once
        the large institutional investors realize what the
        Dallas Operational Staff and the regional offices really
        contribute and what they really cost in the way of
        earnings.If Mike Focht had to manage his divisional and
        operational staff like the hospitals had to, earnings would
        improve.I would estimate that with all the staff, corporate
        perks and airplanes that costs could be reduced by
        $30-40 million.
