    Sweet dreams...

Everyone is screaming because Hachi is telling them what they don't want to hear .....Tell them that "happy days are here again" and they will clap their hands with joy ! If hachi is not correct on the magnitude, the basic direction is clear..The global economy is suffering from unpayable debts , serviced by a tsunami of fiat currency !

    • Thank you, but I don't necessarily believe with everything Chapman said. I also expected a backlash, because people believe what they want to believe. This is the dirty little secret of advertising: people would rather believe the comfortable or enticing lie. Can you imagine if I went on the Bank of America board in January 2008 and said it was going to crash, go to $3, what people would have said, to the man? Of course, I wouldn't have known that, but the point is such was "impossible" to people, but now it’s history. Nobody can argue the debt problem is manageable, as you point out, and something has to give, and that it's high probability it will be very ugly: this is almost assured. On the other hand, you can't blame people who've been brainwashed their whole lives by CNBC, etc., dollar cost averaging mutual funds (that's really worked, eh?), "buy and hold," lying government numbers, and on and on. It's very difficult to accept hard realities, much more comfortable to believe the lies. There's also, on message boards, antisocial people who just lash out, anonymously, for personal anger and problems, people who are just argumentative and hateful, because their shoes are too tight, or whatever. Anyway, all I did was post the man's thoughts, and, at the beginning, told people to make of it what they will, but I do believe Chapman has important points people should consider, if they're smart. That's all. It is really a shame how people get hateful, shoot the messenger, when all I was trying to do was post something interesting and perhaps eye opening, attack me, personally, when all I was doing was posting Chapman's thoughts. I think what he had to say is much more intelligent than 99.99% of everything posted by the critics on this board. This is the very reason these message boards are so bad. Intelligent people walk away, leaving trolls, without a life, to work out their mental problems.
