Something is up!
Haven't been around in a while, but thought I'd chime in.
Something is up at the company my fellow MVIS longs, we're going to hear soon, maybe next couple of days. I can't even speculate on what because so much is possible. I'm certain it will be positive and if it is not you can call me out. Wished I could get more.
I don't BS on this board, I'm just saying, sources have told me "something is up and I'll know more soon!" I certainly will know by later in the week, but I think everyone will know by then as well. Been a frustrating couple of months (years). Hopefully this starts a serious upward trend.-

Well we will know on Monday. Could be a hedge against an announcement before the cc.
If nothing on Monday, the wait continues.

One trick pony? If you mean the engine itself then sure. But that's like saying Intel is a 1 trick pony (for the most part). Fact is, mvis can embed their engine in many more devices than intel's chips. And mvis has an equal tech advantage, especially when it comes to smaller devices such as cellphones. Intel can only dream of one day selling Chips for 1+ Billion computers per year......and growing. That's mvis' market and that's only handsets.

Why does everybody assume that it is good news. This company is in a tough spot. It could be bad news too for investors.

Folks are thinking the bad news bag is empty even with AT at the helm. He can't speak for crap, he misleads investors, he falls all over himself, and the company has not made a cent under his leadership. Great Tech but he beat investors to death. Sooner or later even he is going to get something right. NOw that we have so many companies in the Green laser race we may just make it big after all.

I hate to even fantasize that the recent strength in the stock could be related to Nokia's investor event this Friday or some sort of pending announcement concerning Microvision at next weeks Mobile World Congress.
Probably just the hurd following Blackrock's lead. -

Asia Optical (3019.TW) is up 4.20 to 64.30 close to is 52 week high (our supplier). I got a good feeling about the rest of the week.

The run up maybe due to the Street.com article stating Apple's IPhone 5 May Launch in June which came out today. Speculation is that Microvision's Pico Projector will be built in it.

What run-up? We were down when the market sold off, now the last few sessions the market has been up so we got a little bump as well. I don't see any run-up in the last 2 weeks, we're actually down 20+%. And the Run-up before that was rumor based but largely due to a huge 17 week run-up in the market.
So if there's news coming this week then they either did a great job at keeping leaks to zero (ie. letting Ben go, lol) which could mean its really big news or it's nothing big so there's no leaks to be leaked. I'm leaning it's not any big news since there's always leaks when the news is this close to being released.
