Oh, I'm not short. And, I'm not worried.
But, I'm not squealing about WowWeeOne's.
If a CEO doesn't know on the first of a month whether or not he will be shipping product by the end of the month... to me... it seems kinda silly for someone else to squeal with excitement three and a half months later.
But, that's just me. I don't drink Koolaid.
Since you mentioned the WOWee One.
WOWee One was going to sell the VUE a few months ago BUT at the last minute they pulled the VUE from the website just before launch. So why? Here is my theory. ESPlus had a large order from MicroVision for the engines in inventory to build the ESPlus Seeser last fall. MicroVision then announced a follow up order. 2012 came along and ESPlus was stealth (maybe trying to wait for the Gen 2) while MicroVision then signed a partnership with WOWee One to push out the inventory engines (PicoP) with a device called the VUE. During the introduction of the partnership at CES 2012, Magnus Hammick of WOWee One told a reporter that they have a product using laser Technology to be released late 2nd Q 2012. With that in mind, ESPlus may have come back to the plate for inventory engines (order). ESPlus just started selling the Seeser just days ago on their new website . If this was the caseit could have pulled the plug on the VUE ( because MicroVision is not building any more PicoP Gen 1 engines) but maybe not the new device which was stated in the interview to be released late 2nd Q 2012 by WOWee One. Taking inventory from MicroVision will then IMO give them a edge for loyalty customer when Gen 2 comes to market. Maybe the Device that was 25% smaller than the ShowWX+ with brilliant colors shown at the ASM 2012 in the back of the room is WOWee One new laser toy? Remember MicroVision was in China for 3 weeks along with Taiwan just one month ago. (Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Japan and Taiwan)
Paul Patterson from MicroVision a few months ago.
"From Paul Patterson of MicroVision:
“We’re excited to be teaming up with WOWee ONE, a leading, globally recognized brand that can help propel top-end portable pico projection solutions to the next level,” said Paul Patterson, Vice President of Business Development, Strategic Marketing and Sales, MicroVision. “We share a common vision and are thrilled at the possibilities ahead. As we embark on this venture, we look forward to building a long-standing relationship with WOWee ONE that will help shape the future of mobile technology for everyday users.”
In a interview with Magnus Hammick from WoweeOne a few months ago:
"Laser Technology is very interactive and I think you will very excited what you see sort of late 2nd quarter 2012. (Just in time for the Greens" this weeks interview. (Magnus Hammick, CEO Wowee One)"
6:10 into the interview
I base my thoughts on the fact that Microvision was trying to get rid of inventory that was the old system, They had to introduce the gen2 engine at the CES. Everyone went on hold. Pioneey is working on finalizing their HUD. Pioneer agrees to manufacture the Gen 2 Engine but must take care of their needs first. That being accomplished AT stated at the last CC that the Gen two engines would be available to support Pioneer and other OEMS that might place an order. There wer already tw devices that were lined up before the Gen 2 engine so why would they not get in line to take delevery after Pioneer launches, Wowwee has had the best reviews of those involved with Microvision and will hitch a ride with Pioneer when they launch with the Logo Image by Pico, Lets see what happens. The MM are making a final stand with their 100/200 share trades now for three days. lets see what happens tomorrow. Someone sold 36,000 shares during the first 15 minutes of trading today and set the tone for the rest of the dayy.day.
