Sounds like damage control in full swing at MVIS.... No follow-on orders for a while and a confirmation
that it truly did sound like AT thru Pioneer under the bus last week.... Not a good presentation by a CEO....
expect some raised eyebrows at the shareholders meeting (if anyone attends) this week as ONCE AGAIN the management looks for MORE FROM THE SHAREHOLDERS while providing NOTHING in return..... MVIS in TURMOIL, again??? EGO does not equal CEO... Step aside into the abyss....
I would think it is definitely damage control, but I just looked at the video on Displayground and I am impressed. They have come a long, long way and that is worth paying for. Safety is first and everyone is moving that way. Just the new features in my new Mazda were worth the trade. Don't mind paying for safety features like that.
This where MVIS falls short in PR and CEO ability. Response should of happened quickly. PR should of been out there for the shareholders much sooner and maybe these firestorms wouldn't be so bad. Perhaps if MVIS did more for investors like the video and Press Release they wouldn't have to fight these fires. Pioneer is one of the best and I look for systems like theirs poping up all over. I just MVIS and Pioneer get their share of the market.
"As we discussed on the conference call, we continue to engage in discussions with Pioneer on future business opportunities, with focus on embedded HUD as that is where we see the highest potential as we believe this is where the automotive industry is also focusing for HUD."
Patience, Grasshopper, we're in uncharted territory.
