Provided are a laser drive circuit, a method for driving a laser and a device using laser light which are capable of reducing speckle noise due to the laser light being coherent light. In a laser drive circuit which generates laser drive currents for driving a plurality of laser sources that emit laser light with mutually different wavelengths on the basis of an input video signal, the speckle noise due to the laser light being coherent light is reduced by superimposing a high-frequency signal with a frequency beyond the band of the video signal onto a laser drive current generated on the basis of an input video signal.
2. System configuration of the projector apparatus to which the present disclosure applies
As an apparatus using a laser light of the present disclosure, the projector device to which the present disclosure is applied, more specifically, it illustrates a projector device for laser beam scanning system, will be described below configuration.
FIG 1 is a system configuration diagram showing an example of configuration of the projector device for laser beam scanning method. Video signal processing circuit 11, laser driving circuit 12, the light source unit 13, a scanner unit 14, and the light receiving element 15, the projector apparatus 10 according to the present embodiment has a configuration having a scanner drive circuit 16.
