Being a value investor, one of the tools i love to use is a historical price analysis. I do this by compareing past years earnings to P/E ranges. From my research the historical P/E of BWP has been 16 at the low end and 23 on the high end. using these limits we can see how the current price compares to this years earnings and future earnings. Using project 2012 earning of 1.35 we get a price range of 21.60 to 31.05. Based on next years projected earning of 1.43 we get a price range of 22.88 to 32.89. Based on this we now set $2 of the top of the range for next year so I'm a buyer at the stock pulls back toward that price of 23 to 24. Preferably i would like to get my DCA (dollar cost average) as close as possilbe to the that range as possible.
