You have to ask yourself why this company has gone nowhere over the last 4 years while the U.S. equity markets have been in a bull market and all indexes have hit all time highs.
I expect it is due to the lack of real growth in earnings and distributions, a bloated overhead, etc.
Basically it is poorly managed because one family controls the investment and they do not really grow equity prices in all of their investments. In fact all of their investments have underperformed the market indexes over the last 4 years.
There are better pipeline companies that have better return in distributions and appreciation of the equity. It is not worth holding BWP for 2% more yield when there has been no growth in the equity over the last 4 years.
there is nothing to suggest such a decline in this stock. I think this is a good buying opportunity and I am doing so. BWP is engaged in a good business, the right sector and will proper long term wiith a good divident that is partially tax deferred.
