I absolutely agree with that post. No shares to short means no new shorts coming in. And the volume is such that covering would be easy.
I completely agree that there is much more at work here. MAybe MM or fund manipulation, and certainly a huge pile of greater fools.
One other point....easy for the momo playerts to come in and buy 1000, 2000 shares when TZOO was at 20, 30, 40.....but as it gets to 70, etc., it gets much harder to keep the momo going. Think about how much the dollar volume has gone up over the last few weeks.
---The best house on the street doesn't have shares available to short. Amazing.---
That's why this isn't a short squeeze. For a short squeeze, you need shorts to squeeze. There are no borrows on this. Haven't been since TZOO was at 15.
Something else is going on. Either that, or inside players are holding all borrows themselves.
Days-to-cover on TZOO has never risen above 1. And with the float being traded 2-3X (or more) a day, all shorts could cover in a few hours---if there were any shorts.
Nope, something else happening. Look forward to finding out how this stock management project works. Will be interesting to see how shares have been rejiggered after 9/30.
