We are in the position of AMZN at its inception and no doubt are in for a roller coaster ride. Zix is becoming the trusted third party between the Docs, PBM�s, and healthcare companies who despise one another...how complex this ...is in a very new market...a billion dollar market (Have Patience). We need pocketscripts system to work perfectly and inexpensively for mass adoption. I am not happy with time frame, but I want this product to be the hottest thing on the e-health market. ...Look at the e-fax product...just about ready for rollout. With Labcorp and Quest sending... 80 million faxes, ...a perfect product is a no brainer...well worth the wait. ..big names added to our client list. Eli Lilly smacked with a huge fine secured their messaging (via)Zixcorp. Hartford financial is using Zix products to insure GLBA compliance. OCC and the OTS in Zix's hip pocket, other banks and institutions will choose (Zix). Zix products are sold on a subscription model and have a near perfect renewal rate, gaining solid customers, keeping them happy (longterm).
As for me, the stock had a good base above $15 and seems to be holding around $9. With all the interest rate hoopla adding to the confusion on the battlefield the right price over the next month for this stock is about 11.75-12.50 to give another whopping 90 days to make progress.
I think it will take 6-9 months myself given all the extra uncertainty handed the market to make Zixi float back to the mid 15 range.
But I am hanging on to my shares and writing covered out of the money calls to cover the bumps in the meantime.
mardermj, I was trying to cover my thoughts about the last week or so. I have friends that I truly love and am devoted to that have lost to the point of devastation. I hate what has happened and have spent hours discussing it with the last couple of days with friends. My post is just a reflection on the conclusions I have come to in regards to my own investment and what works for me. We all have our thresholds of pain, they just haven't reached mine yet. I hope that came across in the post.
