It's common with foreign stocks, esp. German/Swiss/Scandinavian. They don't want to pay to have to meet US exchange reporting requirements. Why don't you know this? Are you as green as chlorophyll?
Lots of big Ger/Swi/Scan companies exchange listed are not on the pink sheets, you informationally challenged dim bulb. Pink sheet status for a very large foreign company typically says they are not reporting or responding to standard listing requirements, thus making all financial info suspect. "Pay", as you said, newbie, has nothing to do with it. Get a clue.
