Depending on size, but i'm thinking an immediate $1+ pop.
And I believe I am being conservative.
I am beginning to think I should play this stock heavy. It is becoming interesting.
I bet this company gets bought out by a huge Tobacco Co. in a few years.
Yeah I was unclear, sorry Hocari. I mean a gap up "of" ten dollars. Not a gap "to" ten dollars. A pps of $15 is easily justified on a one third settlement. And that doesn't even take into account the valuation of Rock Creek.
I think you are off by a factor of 10, a reyonlds settlememnt agreeable to williams would see the stock up $10 within 3 days. We have a tendancy to underestimate everything because of our years of suffering. We're not in Kansas anymore.

"And what would you Do If you DID have a brain?" said Dorothy to the RJR CEO.
What's the chance RJR will settle? You have to understand that there is so much bad blood between RJR and CIGX over the years, it has become more than business; it has become a blood feud.
I honestly can't see how they will just suddenly reconcile and be BFF.
I don't see them as being BFF. On the other hand, I CAN see a clear rationale that says, based on the most recent rulings, proceding to cure the 2012 crop without settling would constitute willful infringement. RJR can not risk putting the 2012 crop at risk. I also think that there is the possibility for RJR to be motivated by the opportunity to get a less costly settlement than its competitors and possibly to even position itself to make a royalty on all of its competitors' sales.
My question is simple and after you are finished making fun of me, maybe someone will answer it: Why does RJ have any incentive for a large settlement when they keep beating CIGX in court and both a jury and appeal judges have ruled that even if the CIGX patent was valid, RJ did not infringe upon it?
Not a short at all. Long and strong. I feel this could be a $10+ stock near future.
Just the way this is trending...and with the catalysts noted, I feel some of the settlement will be priced in already, when announced. Also, the settlement may not be as favorable as some hope to believe, thus my reasoning for not having a much bigger position in this stock.
I did say I felt I was being conservative......
