God answers all prayers...but sometime the answer is NO. With all due respect to my ONCE fellow Longs...they might want to consider heeding God's answer & reevaluate their stance herein.
In God I trust,
wrong again, joe. against what the majority believes, God actually hears few prayers.
But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear. ~ Isaiah 59:2
We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly person who does his will. ~ John 9:31
so no, God does not hear your prayers, joe...unless you change your heart, of course. that's why your prayers don't seem to pass any further than the ceiling when you do cry out.
You quoted from the bible so allow me to do same:
2 Corinthians 11:13-15
13- For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. 14- And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. 15- So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.
a- browny...wow...I thought you were an intellect and a good judge of character...your hunch a long time ago about me was right but now you are having doubt...that's because you are losing faith my good fella....I do not wish anyone ill...but those who do and pray for God to answer their prayers...God answer will be NO. I thought you were smart enough to understand it...but please don't take your frustration out on me!
Please know, that unlike others I not only have faith but I practice mine...my passionate spirit drives me on and my will holds me steady in my course through life.
My christian advise to you Mr. Brown..is to not become the victim of the delusion of your own competence as many have here.
In summation, Investing is like wine to sip it it hurts nobody but to empty the bottle it could invite a headache! If you can't understand this last statement, then, I am doubly disappointed in you.
I do not accept no!
God always gives you what is best for you.
This means that if you ask for help with money it may not come as STSI but maybe as the NFLX you may also own.
God is ever faithful and always gives you what you ask for, but not always in the specific way you asked for.
with all due respect, i'm afraid your theology is a bit off, monk. God is always faithful...true. God always gives you what you ask for...absolutely not. that is nowhere in my bible...nor yours. in fact, if you ask God for money, it may very well never appear. God is no genie. sadly, this is the wrongful teaching of joel osteen.
