Bought the stock in late July on dip. Have been waiting on someone to post on this message board for some time now. To answer your question, I don't think any of those things are the problem. This company had record earnings in the second quarter. I think in the 3rd quarter nitrogen prices as well as some strategic investments reduced earnings. However these acquisitions should pay out next year. My brother is working on an expansion project presently going on at there facility in Mississippi. I bought the stock on a recommendation from a co-worker whose family lives near the plant and owns the stock. Any info you have will be appreciated.
My family has been a share holder for 30 years-from Yazoo originally. Made a fortune on this stock over that time period when it split to cem and ggo. At one time shares soared to 1000 a share so i am told.......we did not sell because of ties to company-Chemical Engineers, however, at this time I am not to optimistic on gro- cem is doing great-21 to 28 last year with dividends-Gro is just flat with almost no trading going on.
