A terrific financial move for the company, and also great for LCC employees (who will operate the aircraft!) and LCC customers (who get "real" LCC employees and even first class). An excellent strategic move. Maybe even the analysts will notice. :<)http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/060209/lath150.html?.v=6
a320boss"You refuse to acknowledge the existance of your fellow west pilots as you pass them in the terminal? That's shows what you think of brotherhood!"Is that really happening?Imba
"..The new aircraft will be configured with 11 first-class and 88 coach seats and will be powered by GE CF34-10E aircraft engines. The new agreement is subject to bankruptcy court approval..."Why the last sentence?
The company will probably soon be back in bk.Whare ARE those Q4 numbers??
That is good. I like to work on airplanes from my home county!
Isn't JetBlue having issues with their E190's?I understand they are very nice (the JBLU ones) from friends of mine who flew them, but in some cases they wound up with A320's when they were supposed to have 190's.Any ideas or is this a JBLU issue? Thanks!
They say jet blue initially had problems with the 190s and had to replace wih 320s on some routes. I hear they are talking to bombardier to get CRJ-900s instead and cancel contract with EMB.
I think it is "teething pain" with a new jet. In a way, it's better for LCC to have JBLU as the lauch customer. I doubt there will be any long term reliability problems with the 190.
