    • you are incorrect. stryker pays 10 to the rep bacterin pays 15 to the principal who then has to split it.

there is a reason bacterin has to pay more otherwise their product would not be sold. The stryker agency must hit their corporate quotas and they cannot do that by selling bacterin. bacterin is only a fill in when allograft is required. Many stryker agents carry allograft for same reason and few from bacterin. All confirmed by stryker avp. you are clueless.

keep buying more bone, they need the investment

    • Breakem1,

I'm not sure if you are aware of how many Stryker agents are now carrying BONE's products, but it is suddenly and quickly becoming a majority. The same thing occurred with Orthovita before Stryker bought them.

When Stryker bought Orthovita, they did it through "Owl Investments". Are you familiar with how the transaction and transfer went and do you see the similarities here?

What should the premium be for BONE if they do it now?

Keep in mind that the Stryker reps are selling Bacterin's hMatrix and coated k-wires in addition to OsteoSponge. I am hoping to hear of the sales of coated wires and pins for the Ex-Fix lines as well...

    • alloguy35,meddevice21,pedifile00,

You did not address your contradiction: Anyone reading this thread can see that.

Your next idiot statement: <"Synthetics (Vitoss) will always be cheaper, have the higher margins..and the higher commission rate."> Wrong again!

Vitoss comission is 8 - 10% for a Stryker rep.

Bacterin comission is 15% for that same Stryker rep.

      Gotcha again ;-))))))))))))

    • You are clueless.

AMC is the distributor of Stryker products. They ARE Stryker agents and are required to sell the Stryker line which is Vitoss. They can at a lower commission sell an allograft line if they have to. Synthetics will always be cheaper, have the higher margins..and the higher commission rate. If Stryker wanted an allograft line they would have bought one.

Go drink yourself silly and buy more BONE. It is down another 10% today.

    • alloguy,

Two messages ago you stated: <"they (Stryker agents) have to sell their own biologic line now.">

Now you state: <"AMC sells several allograft lines, not just Bacterin.">

      So, which is it?

Making things up on the fly damages what little credibility you have...

    • Yes and Time Warner bought AOL, J&J bought what? Are you comparing a viable and profitable company like Synovis to Bacterin?
Synovis has proprietary products, Bacterin is just one of many allograft processors.
