Woodstock Farms Milk v Private label

    Thanks for your reply, flag.

I thought "PRIVATE LABEL" meant goods sold under a specific grocery store's "brand" name meaning one would not be able to locate say Stop & Shop's Nature's Promise private label milk at Shaws. Woodstock farms milk is available at Stop & Shop in Boston and a food coop in Middlebury, VT. I imagine it is also available at other outlets, hence I don't consider Woodstock Farms as a private label, rather its a brand of UNFI. Who produces and packages Nature's Promise and Woodstock Farms milk???
Again, if both are produced and packaged at the same facility, regardless who owns it, wouldn't both products be the same and wouldn't it be a waste of money to buy Woodstock Farms milk?
