    Wake Up--UNFI Short Squeeze Alert!!

Have you priced organic foods lately?

    • Have you seen the studies showing cancer in animals fed irradiated foods?? How much would you pay to not be diagnosed with cancer?? I suggest that you educate yourself on the studies. Funding got pulled on many of them as the bad results started coming in. The "big agribusiness/federal government" complex want irradiation pushed down our throats. There is a large group of folks (myself included) that will never be willing to eat this garbage. 70% of the American public is currently against food irradiation. Even if half of them become complacent as the FDA pushes the stuff on us, the folks that are not willing to eat this stuff will be a HUGE market.

Let's face it, the shorts have created a "compressed spring" in this stock with their absurd level of shorting. What we are seeing is the inevitable, strong surge, as these positions must be unwound.

I'm amazed that UNFI is back to growing the earnings/revenue even in this depressed consumer economy.

      • Everything you are talking about, right or wrong, is well known for a long time and already priced in.
All I am really seeing today is a huge short squeeze.
This is not a healthy price increase on new info.
Where will the new buyers come from when the shorts are done being squeezed?
I would be leary of analyst downgrades here. Might be a good time to take intermediate profit.
