    Absolutely Pathectic !

Havent posted in awhile and sure dont like to sound negative about the company i worked at for 33 yrs. and retired from but this is the biggest POS integrated oil stock i have ever seen since its split of 4 to 1 in june 97`. Each and everyone of us would have been much better off investing in Jack in the Box versus this dog and its BS so called great dividends.

There i got it off my chest and should last me for another 3 or 4 months.

    Regards & GLTA

    • I am also retired and concerned. In my view they made a mistake when the abolished the managing board of directors.

    • Don't ask me. I'm not retired..............yet.

      • I retired with 33+ years.. There were ups and downs. Most of the downs were a result of untrained managers. Long ago the board was very negative until a light bulb came one that we could make money trading rather than holding. At one point you had to call in and you got the closing price. Once the internet came around you would notice that the network was very slow at about 15 minutes to 3 pm. I think the stock might get a better following by just changing it's stock symbol to not have the .,-,^ . I have suggested this many times but I have yet to get any interest at all. Maybe there is some truth in if your not Dutch your not much (j/k).

    • From one 30 year employee to those who've posted today. I've had good times and I've had some not so good times with mother Shell. But, I seriously doubt I'd done any better working for and retiring from any of the other companies I tried. I can honestly say "Shell's been pretty darn good to me". Now that I've got that off my chest I too am not always happy with moves made by our old company. I've got my fingers crossed that the new management will make changes and set direction that will be best for the company, the employees, the retirees and the share holders. GLTA... Keep your heads held high, you're all winners in my books.

      • I second that and now I'm undecided if I'll even cast a vote. Us 30+ year employees have been flustered but blessed too. Sometimes it's hard to see the forest for the trees...or did I get that backward too? It's good to know Shell didn't pick 'em all from the same tree. I thank all you guys on the board for being knowledgeable and helpful to your fellowman. Best to all.

    • Long ago they keep hiring a non qualified people from the ground up. You get the fruit of those people from after the split to now. The half #$%$ merge with Texaco, replacing U.S management with Europeans. They should have left it the way it was.

    • As another 30++ SHELL OIL CO. vet to another, I'm equally PO'ed and dumbfounded. SESOP sure was nice. I feel like I'm on a Merry-go-Round from He!!.
